Although not as bad as it could be by the sound of it. Indeed the story title seems a bit alarmist in light of the content of the story.

Having recently moved to Germany I've been thinking more about instances of fascism and victimisation in contemporary societies. In particular that despite the fall of many fascist states and the obvious immorality of such things that there is still oppression and victimisation everywhere we look. So, I'm starting this to create a catalogue of injustice. Not a comprehensive list, nor a particularly novel list. Just a list of what is happening.

"Egypt blogger Maikel Nabil jailed by military court"
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-13038937
Incredibly disappointing that the Military Council seem to be picking up where Mubarak left off. Perhaps not surprising though, as many point up Mubarak was part of the military. I suppose it was unrealistic to expect any serious changes in terms of human rights whilst the country is still under the control of an unaccountable government. Fingers crossed elections actually take place in September and the Council steps aside.
